NCL Introduces Third Prima Class Ship

Norwegian Cruise Line introduced its third Prima class ship on Thursday morning.

Norwegian Aqua will sail its maiden voyage from Port Canaveral in the spring of 2025, debut a hybrid sea coaster, have the most extensive Haven retreat in the fleet, and come in 10 percent larger than its sister.

One thing I need help finding is a go-kart track in these renderings.

RCL will reveal more details at a future date.

Seven-night cruises from Florida will call Puerto Plata, Tortola, St. Thomas, and NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay.

Prices for the inaugural season start at $1,000 per person and go up to $4200 per person for The Haven.

RCL Redeploys Jewel of the Seas to Boston

In a swift response to the escalating geopolitical tensions in Israel, Royal Caribbean is repositioning Jewel of the Seas from Haifa, Israel, to Boston in 2024.

This move has resulted in a slew of cancellations.

A letter to booked guests gives two options: rebook to another sailing and receive a refund of the fare difference, plus airline change fees, or a full refund, including for pre-booked travel expenses.

Last month, Rhapsody of the Seas, homeported in Haifa, canceled the remainder of its season. RCL will reposition it to Florida this month.

Bimini Cruise Port to Welcome One-Millionth Visitor

The Bimini cruise port is on the heels of a milestone at the end of the month as it’ll welcome its one-millionth visitor.

This year, the island’s most frequent visitor has been the Scarlet Lady from Virgin Voyages.

Although Virgin isn’t the only cruise line that calls there. Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Crystal, Norwegian, and Holland America have all made stops there.

The port opened to cruise ships in 2021, and its most famous attraction is the Bimini Beach Club, located a little over a mile from the cruise port.
